How do I organize a group?

Talk to your friends, family, school mates, neighbors or anyone who may be interested, just like you, in having their kids fluent in Spanish.

It is easier to get people to say they are interested but harder for people to commit. However, once this group is formed and all have a common goal, and in a sense, a support group, there are more chances for the class to succeed.

2 - Create an Account

Why do I create an account on this Web site?

You don't need to sign up to view or buy a class, but creating an account on our website allows you to get faster service, track your orders, view records of your previous purchases and to enjoy member benefits such as newsletters and event information. It also allows us to know your class preferences and special requests.

We respect your privacy and do not share any of your information with anyone.

Why do I set a goal?

What makes our program unique is that we set goals with your kids and they see their own progress and benefits that come with being able to USE the language.

4 - Select a Class

How do I register for a class?

Our program works with self-motivated groups. You see our availability online and organize your group around it. Any class for which the button is not greyed out is available.

Only one person in the group needs to reserve the class. When we confirm your class, we'll know about how many students you have in your group, and subsequently they can register online or by phone if they prefer.

5 - Receive Confirmation
What do you mean by "confirmation?"

Before you go to check out and pay for your class, you must have:

1. A group assembled
2. A location in mind (ours or yours)
3. A confirmation, if you wish to propose a location other than ours, from our office.

If you wish to propose an alternate location, please phone us at (415) 841-1681 to propose your location. We require this confirmation in order to avoid scheduling conflicts.

for Kids Spanish Teaching
Program. We are committed to making Spanish a useful
language for your kids.

At Español for Kids

• We teach useful language to students ages 4 to 15.
Our curriculum is designed for this age group and our teachers are experienced with age-appropriate development.

• We accomodate different ways of learning.
We teach using a variety of learning tools including drawing,
arts and crafts, music, rhythm, role-playing games, dance,
field trips, and videos.

• All teachers are native Spanish-speakers.
Teachers can share their diverse cultural experiences as bilingual speakers. Coupled with our curriculum, they offer diverse perspectives and help kids make connections with other cultures.

• We offer parental support.
We are collaborators with you in your child's growth and awareness of the world. Our use of current technologies allows for easy parental support and regular communications.

• Our curriculum is lively and unique.
We set goals for fluency within our lively interactive curriculum. Our curriculum is designed so the child can use interactions learned in class, beyond the class with other Spanish speakers. We set and work towards this goal.
